Meet the Board of Supervisors
The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of the St. Lucie West Services District. Members of the Board of Supervisors are elected by qualified electors of the District to terms of four years, and members must themselves be qualified electors of the District. A qualified elector of the District is any person who is (1) at least 18 years of age, (2) a citizen of the United States, (3) a legal resident of the State of Florida and the District, and (4) registered to vote with the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections. Board member elections are nonpartisan and held at the same time as general elections, in the manner prescribed by law for general elections. If a vacancy occurs during a term of office, the remaining members of the Board fill the vacancy by an appointment for the remainder of the unexpired term.
